Zanzibar Investment Summit 2025

On June 16, 2025, Nahaat Mahfoudh, Managing Director of ZF Devco, represented the company at the Zanzibar Investment Summit 2025 held in Pemba. This summit, organized by the Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA), aimed to highlight Pemba's potential as a strategic investment hub, focusing on sectors like tourism, agriculture, blue economy, infrastructure, renewable energy, and digital economy.

Mr. Mahfoudh's participation underscored ZF Devco's commitment to enhancing Zanzibar's maritime infrastructure. He shared insights on the company's flagship project—the Zanzibar Passenger and Ro-Ro Ferry Terminal in Maruhubi—which is poised to significantly improve regional connectivity and stimulate economic growth. This project is expected to create over 3,000 direct and indirect jobs, aligning with the summit's objectives of sustainable development and investment attraction.

The summit featured high-level discussions, including a panel on maritime logistics where Mr. Mahfoudh contributed his expertise. His involvement highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships in driving infrastructure development and economic transformation in Zanzibar.
