Jaffer Machano, Director, Co-founder, and Chairman, emphasizes, “Our fundamental goal is to grow Zanzibar’s Blue Economy, thereby improving the quality of life for its people.” This ambitious project, a public-private partnership with Zanzibar's revolutionary government, showcases ZF Devco’s commitment to sustainable development while preserving the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Machano highlights the significant milestone of securing the PPP agreement for the ferry terminal project, leveraging decades of collective PPP experience. Co-founder Matthew VanderBorgh notes the project’s alignment with seven UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing ZF Devco’s commitment to sustainability, economic growth, and equal access to community services.
